Purple DM Boots!
Yes, I really do have metallic purple Doc Martens (though I don't wear them as often as my run-of-the-mill beloved old black ones)! I'll wear them next time I'm on the Tube and see if Annie Mole (Fashion Victims & comments - 28th April) can catch me!
Add-on: "One should always have something sensational to *wear* in the train."
(A slight adaption of the classic line by Gwendolen in 'The Importance of Being Earnest')

Well I certainly wouldn't miss you in those :)
I love them!
Annie: Their larey-ness (I hope that counts as a word!) would give you the advantage if we're ever on the underground in the same place at the same time!!
Sue: Thanks! I was pretty chuffed when I found them!
i'm envious! they are fabulous!
I came here because I thought, "Hmm, Chelley's Teapot, that sounds similar to my girlfriend's site. She likes teapots and things too." She is also called Chelle (short, as you well know, for Michelle). So that was almost a coincidence.
Then, when I scrolled down, I was surprised and overjoyed to see that you have blogged about your purple boots!
Chelle's blog is called Lovely Purple Shoes! She loves this kind of thing! She has a pair of green and a pair of red DMs - but sadly no purple ones.
This is really bizarre. You two must be so similar! I'll point her in this direction. In fact, I'll link to you from my blog now!
May your days be merry and bright...

Anthony: That is bizarre... parallel universe maybe? Fancy there being two of us with the same great name, taste in purple footwear and love of teapots!
Thanks for your comment and the link - I'll enjoy a read of both your blogs. I'm now on the lookout for some green tartan DM's - if Chelle's got any ideas where to find some perhaps she could let me know! :)
I know exactly the place - Camden market!
I saw some tartan DM's there when I bought my green and my red DM's, which I managed to wangle for just £22.50 each!
I also own a pair of black DM's , which, like you, I have worn alot. They are definitely likely to be the first to die as I've lived in them so much!
Nice to meet you!

Hi Chelle!
Thanks for that - I'll have a wander to Camden market at some point and see if I can find myself some of the green tartans!
Nice to meet you and your blog too!
